After releasing Genshin Impact (Free) version 1.1, miHoYo is back with another major update that will arrive later this month. Genshin Impact “The Chalk Prince and the Dragon” brings the game’s first map expansion “Dragonspine”, new characters, a new seasonal event, and more. Genshin Impact 1.2 arrives on December 23rd for iOS, Android, PS4, PS5 (via backwards compatibility), and PC platforms bringing the new map, characters, seasonal event, and more. The Dragonspine is a new frozen mountain range with unique creatures, rare artifacts, recipes for 4 star weapons, and more. The new seasonal event in Genshin Impact is titled “The Chalk Prince and the Dragon” and it takes place in the new Dragonspine region. Albedo and Ganyu are new 5 star characters who are featured in this event. Watch the Genshin Impact version 1.2 trailer below:

I’m also very curious to see how the game expands next year with the Nintendo Switch version. If you’re interested in checking it out, you can download Genshin Impact on the App Store for iOS here and on Google Play for Android here for free.
